Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Scope, an AI customer service agent for businesses. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

The service

Scope lets your business receive messages from WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger and website chat in one inbox, and have an AI agent answer questions from the knowledge you provide. Complex or sensitive conversations can be handed to your team.

Your account

• You are responsible for your account, your team members and your credentials.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You must be authorized to act for the business you register.

Your content and responsibilities

You own the content you upload, including your knowledge base and conversation data. You are responsible for its accuracy, because the AI agent answers from it. You are also responsible for having the right to message your customers and for complying with the laws that apply to your business, including data-protection and messaging rules.

Third-party platforms

When you connect WhatsApp, Instagram or Messenger, you must also follow Meta's terms and policies, including its messaging and business policies. We are not responsible for outages or changes on those platforms.

Acceptable use

You may not use Scope to:

• send spam, unsolicited bulk messages or deceptive content;
• break the law or violate anyone's rights;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer or gain unauthorized access to the service.

AI replies

Replies are generated by AI and may contain mistakes. Scope does not give legal, financial or medical advice. Review important answers and make sure sensitive or urgent cases are handled by your team.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may update the service or these terms, and will update the date above when we do. Continuing to use Scope means you accept the updated terms.

Termination

You can stop using Scope and delete your data at any time (see data deletion). We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of Scope.
